Beginning in 1995, the Law Offices of Jason Stern set out to right the unimaginable wrongs he witnessed while working for his first law firm. From lawyers missing court appearances for their desperate clients, to recommending clients plead guilty to crimes they insisted they were innocent of, to being reprimanded for not lying to judges, it appeared as though the law firm was being run by the Devil himself. After my second week of a job I desperately needed, I quit and the very next day launched my own practice with the notion that even if I didn’t know a lot about the law, I knew the differences between right and wrong, between respect and disrespect, and between honesty and lying. From that day forward, I promised to build a practice that was built on my principles of honesty, respect, and positivity.
